War Eagle: The Gator-haulin' Swiss Army Boat

War Eagle: The Gator-haulin' Swiss Army Boat
Sep 30, 2015 -
War Eagle customer Nick Jones was gracious enough to share an email note about his new War Eagle and how it helped him land a 780-pound alligator in South Carolina earlier this year.

He calls his boat the "Swiss Army Boat" because of all the things it can do. Be it ducks, bass or gators you're after, War Eagle will get you there and help bring 'em in.

Check out these awesome pictures of Nick's prize gator. Here's his testimonial:

"I just wanted to send an email and say thanks for making a superior product.  I purchased a Blackhawk 2170 on Valentine's Day this year and it has been the best investment I've ever made.  I wanted a boat to bowfish, duck hunt, freshwater fish (bass, striper, catfish), and to learn how to inshore fish.

"I nicknamed this boat the 'Swiss Army Boat' because it excels at everything I do.  Just this weekend, a friend won an alligator tag in the South Carolina alligator lottery system and they called and asked if I would be able to take them.  It turns out I had the perfect boat for that as well, and we landed a 12 foot 10.5 inch, 780 pound gator!  When we dropped the gator off at the largest processor in the state, he told us it was the 2nd largest gator he's ever received, and he feels certain it will be the biggest one harvested in the state this year.

"We made it into 3 different newspapers, as well as the TV Friday night. It was a heck of a battle, and took us 2 hours to dispatch the gator, and another 2 hours to get it in the boat!  Even with a near record gator in the boat, I actually received more compliments about the boat than the gator at the various places we stopped on the way to the processors!  It is impossible to stop at a gas station or boat ramp without someone stopping to compliment it!  I have had multiple people pull along side of me on the interstate and take pictures while driving.  I can't stress how much I love this boat, both in the durability and the beauty of it.

"The boat did take on a few battle scars after this gator though.  We broke a front cleat trying to winch the gator in, but that's on me as I know that's not what it's designed for.

After complete exhaustion had set in, we were trying anything to get him in the boat! Again, I just want to brag about how great your boats are and show you a few pictures of our trophy!"
